HWT BURST - affected master bdroom, closet and master bath- migrating to crawl space (customer sliced bellywrap to relieve water

Solutions provided:

For this water damage caused by a burst hot water tank (HWT), our team performed both mitigation and reconstruction services to address the extensive damage.

Upon arriving, we identified the affected areas, which included the master bedroom, closet, and master bathroom. Water had migrated into the crawl space, with the customer slicing the bellywrap to relieve the water. We began by extracting standing water from the affected rooms and crawl space. Dehumidifiers and air movers were set up in the bedroom, closet, bathroom, and crawl space to ensure thorough drying of the structure and prevent mold growth. We also inspected the crawl space to ensure all moisture was addressed and treated any potentially affected areas.

After completing the mitigation, we proceeded with the reconstruction. In the master bedroom, closet, and bathroom, we replaced any damaged drywall, baseboards, and flooring. In the crawl space, we reinstalled or repaired the bellywrap as needed, ensuring that the space was properly sealed and safe.

The project was completed with the home restored to its pre-loss condition, ensuring the property was both dry and secure.
